Reunion Information

Hello Davis Family!

The Reunion is just over a week away, and I have some last minute information for you. I am asking every family attending to contribute $15 towards the rental fee of the pavilion ($100 a day). I will be collecting money for tent fees and the pavilion fee at the reunion.

Here’s the schedule of events, including information about meals. Provide your own table service, please.

Thursday, June 24
2:00 pm - check in starts
6:00 pm - Potluck Dinner (please bring an entrée, salad or dessert to serve 12.)
7:00 pm - Games and Visiting (bring a fun game to play or just visit with the family.)

Friday, June 25
Breakfast and Lunch meals will be done on your own.
10:00 am – Cornhole Championship (sign- up in teams of two to compete for the honor of being the best cornhole player in the Davis family)
2:00 pm - Davis Family Napoleon Dynamite Tournament and Children’s Pinata
(Please contribute a bag of candy for this event)
6:00 pm - Milk Can Dinner (Bring your assigned food item to Sarah Ferrin by 5 pm. See bottom for assignment)
8:00 pm - Talent Show (prepare a serious or not serious act. Favorite memories of Grandma and Grandpa would be great!)

Saturday, June 26
Breakfast on your own
11:00 am – check out time

Reunion T-Shirts and emails

The Dwayne Davis family usually does a reunion T-shirt every year. We like the idea of doing a simple shirt, in different colors for the different families. It makes it so much easier to identify each other. Jolene Davis can get them done for about $6 a shirt. Is anyone interested? Please email her at davisfamily73@msn.com if you are.

Important Reunion Information -READ FIRST

It's been almost seven years since our last reunion! Mark your calendars for June 24-26, at the Riverdale Resort in Preston, Idaho. This resort has room for tent camping, RVs and it also has a motel for those who are not interested in camping.

We will NOT be making individual arrangements for the motel and RV spaces so if you are interested in attending the reunion, you will need to call and make reservations. The phone number of the resort is 1-208- 852-0266. Please mention that you are with the Davis Family Reunion. We have reserved the group tent site, so the price per tent will depend on the number of tents.

Motel Rooms (nightly) are $89 for the double queen and $79 for the king. ($10 off the price if you don't want breakfast served)

RV spaces ($20 a night) have electric hook-ups and a dump site.

Tent camping prices will be $15 a night (or less depending on number of tents).
